Goal Tally ("we," "our," "the app") is a soccer squad-tracking app that helps coaches and teams log games, track player stats, and optionally sync wellness data from connected fitness wearables. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text).
Team and player data. Information you or your team enters directly into the app, including:
Wearable / fitness data (optional). If a player chooses to connect a WHOOP account, Goal Tally requests access — via WHOOP's own sign-in and authorization screen — to that player's workout, strain, and recovery data. We use this only to automatically match a workout to a logged game and display strain alongside that player's stats. Connecting a WHOOP account is entirely optional and can be disconnected at any time from within the app.
Usage data. Basic technical information needed to operate the app, such as login timestamps and device/browser type, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
Goal Tally does not collect precise location data, contacts, browsing history, or financial/payment information, and does not use advertising SDKs or sell personal data to third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app, each of which processes data only on our behalf:
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party, and we do not share data across apps for advertising purposes.
We retain your account and team data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a WHOOP integration at any time from within the app, which stops future data syncing. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, visit our account deletion page or email us at the address below — we'll process deletion requests within 30 days.
Goal Tally is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
